Overview

This position sits within our Sales Enablement division and is responsible for all go to market learning and education in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, IT, and other key areas of the business.

 

The Opportunity         

 

The Sales Enablement Manager reports directly to the Vice President, Sales Enablement. This person works directly with all ConstructConnect Go To Market, Product Development, Marketing, and other stakeholders to identify needs, develop, and facilitate scalable programing for the Sales organization.  This programing will ensure our sellers learn our offerings and share the messages consistently. To do that, you will develop and deliver sales playbooks and enablement programs that further the understanding of our brand value, use consistent value language & propositions, and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead regular conversations with GTM Leaders to identify development needs of the teams, identify patterns and trends across the industry and organization, and evolve strategies and approaches accordingly.
  • Engage with internal partners in advance of GTM initiatives to prepare GTM teams to leverage information quickly and effectively.
  • Develop, deliver, and track effectiveness of enablement programs. Develop narratives and resources to support these programs.
  • Establish a foundation of success and best practices for members of the GTM teams to aid in their career development.
  • Understand and translate value language from marketing and product teams to drive sales & retention comprehension and consistent messaging.
  • Leverage different approaches to drive adoption of enablement programs across GTM teams via a variety of avenues (eLearning, Instructor led training, newsletters, team meetings, success stories, best practices, etc).
  • Identify and address knowledge and skill gaps across teams to focus programming and activities in the most needed areas to create rapid impact and growth.
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of our platforms, core personas, competitive landscape, and GTM strategies to identify gaps & needs, and initiate solutions.
  • Keep training materials & programs up to date with new material, product updates, and training techniques.
  • Provide improvement coaching on both a team & individual level to optimize the effectiveness of individual and team performance.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Strong Takeoff experience a plus.
  • Sales Guru who is constantly looking for more effective ways to gain, and retain, customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed goals in a phone sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required.
  • High-Caliber video conferencing/virtual meeting and listening skills. You must be engaging and compelling over a video call/virtual meeting.
  • Ability to clearly articulate new methods, skills, products, etc to team members.
  • Confident, positive, energetic, professional & team-oriented attitude.
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner on a regular basis with management & senior leaders/stakeholders.
  • Perpetually exhibits the ConstructConnect values.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communication, HR. 
  • Have 4-5+ years of Sales, Sales Training, Sales Onboarding, Customer Support, Learning & Development in a fast-paced SaaS business environment. 
  • Sales Methodology Certifications Preferred: ex. Sandler, Spin, Challenger, Consultative Selling etc.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • This position is fully remote with only occasional travel to the office for team meetings and events. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.
  • Ability to work remotely in the United States or Canada.
