Overview

This position sits within our People and Culture (P&C) division which is responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating human resources.

 

The Opportunity


The Talent Acquisition Consultant is a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for leading the recruitment process for internal customers. Including sourcing, attracting talent, and building relationships with candidates and hiring managers This individual will drive the talent process through participation in strategic planning, collaboration, negotiation, and influential communication. The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be a subject-matter expert and advise hiring managers on recruiting markets, competitive trends, compensation, and other relevant areas. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as they will closely collaborate with People and Culture and other business leaders to ensure recruitment demands are met across multiple teams and locations.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as an internal consultant and advisor for hiring managers from the opening of a position requisition to candidate on-boarding; ensures communication stays consistent with each step.
  • Build a continuous candidate pipeline and create leads through various sourcing methods including but not limited to: cold calling, internet search, job boards, networking, social media, external referrals, employee referrals, career fairs, professional associations/organizations, college alumni/associations, applicant tracking system, diversity sourcing, etc.
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, review and update job descriptions, develop a staffing strategy and drive the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure company and legal compliance with employment practices, policies and processes.
  • Partner with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team to identify and recommend opportunities for improving candidate experience and process inefficiencies.
  • Convey core values and promote the ConstructConnect brand to internal candidates and external talent.
  • As a member of the P&C Team; participate in project work, process improvement initiatives and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success recruiting for Technical, Sales, and high-volume roles. 
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience as an Agency or Corporate Recruiter OR Associates degree with 2-6 years of experience as an Agency or Corporate Recruiter OR HS Diploma with -7+ years of experience as an Agency or Corporate Recruiter.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, corporate recruitment processes, recruitment strategies are necessary.
  • ICIMS Applicant Tracking and LinkedIn Recruiter experience is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • This position is fully remote with only occasional travel to the office for team meetings and events. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.
  • Ability to work on a hybrid basis in Cincinnati, OH.
