Overview

This position is within the Product Management division, which is accountable for the success of our software solutions by working cross-functionally with teams that develop, market, sell and support them.

 

The Opportunity  

  

Product Managers will help execute the product strategy by working closely with research, design, engineering and product strategy leaders to ensure that quality products are released on time. They own and manage detailed requirements and communicate through the agile development tools. They are customer obsessed, communicating regularly with customers, developing prioritized roadmaps with incremental releases, and continuously keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of the progress. They pursue user-centered design and evaluate work-in-progress features with user experience analysts to ensure delightful user experiences.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing  

  

Product Definition & Planning 

  • Agile & Iterative Approach: Embrace and actively participate in the agile product development process, prioritizing rapid learning and incremental delivery of customer value. 
  • Design Thinking: Lead and engage in design thinking exercises to explore and define solutions for identified product opportunities. 
  • Product Requirements: Break down high-level product requirements by collaborating with product leaders, UX, engineering, and data science teams to deliver iterative releases. 
  • Outcome-Driven KPIs: Establish, track, and measure success using well-defined KPIs tied to business and customer outcomes. 
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage adoption metrics, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and Voice of the Organization (VOO) to inform decision making and prioritization. 
  • Roadmap Development: Define and maintain a clear product release roadmap (at least two quarters ahead) and communicate it regularly to stakeholders. 
  • Product Knowledge: Frequently interact with SMEs, UX colleagues, and other teams to enhance product knowledge and cross-functional understanding. 
  • Customer Discovery: Regularly lead discovery sessions with customers to validate assumptions and product experiments. 

 

Business Planning 

  • Strategic Alignment: Assist in developing product OKRs that align with overarching business strategies and priorities. 
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly track, analyze, and report on product OKRs and team metrics to assess progress and guide strategic adjustments. 

 

Product Delivery 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with agile teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of product features. 
  • Customer Value Communication: Collaborate with UX and Product Strategy Managers to document and communicate key customer value propositions to GTM teams. 
  • Adoption Monitoring: Evangelize new features internally and externally while monitoring adoption and iterating to maximize value. 

 

Technical Skills 

  • Product Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on assigned products, fostering a deep understanding of capabilities and competitive positioning. 
  • Technology Awareness: Stay informed on emerging technologies, particularly advancements in cloud-based software and AI/ML, and evaluate their relevance to product goals. 
  • Critical Thinking: Exercise analytical thinking to align product direction with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. 

 

Leadership & Collaboration 

  • Strategic Influence: Drive the strategy and progress of products or product lines, influencing peers and leaders on key decisions and priorities. 
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Work closely with other scrum teams to manage dependencies and ensure seamless execution. 
  • Stakeholder Advocacy: Communicate product vision, roadmap, and customer insights to leadership, GTM teams, and other stakeholders to align expectations and foster collaboration. 
  • Team Enablement: Occasionally oversee internal or external resources, including other product managers, to achieve goals and maintain accountability.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team  
  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required.  
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in product management, or product analyst role. 
  • General understanding of AI capabilities and terminology. 
  • Ability to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand non-technical concepts.  
  • Demonstrated past involvement in supporting various business development initiatives.  
  • Experience in working for a software-as-a-service company. 
  • Experience in or knowledge of the commercial construction industry and/or software industry a plus.  

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:  

  

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.   
  • This position is considered hybrid. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.
  • Ability to work hybrid in the Norcross, GA area.
