Overview

This position sits within our Content division which identifies and publishes accurate and relevant project data for our software solutions.

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer to design, develop, and deploy automated workflows and data processes using Python, RPA, AI, and APIs with knowledge of Microsoft products (such as Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Teams). The ideal candidate will leverage multiple technologies to optimize business processes, integrate systems, and enhance efficiency through automation. 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop automation solutions using Python to streamline processes and dataflows that may connect to Microsoft or Google products (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power Automate, GCP, etc.). 
  • Integrate APIs to enable seamless data flow and system interoperability. 
  • Utilize RPA tools (such as Power Automate and Python) to automate repetitive tasks. 
  • Implement AI-driven solutions including large language models (LLMs) and other artificial intelligence-based solutions, to enhance automation capabilities. 
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. 
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation business process automations. 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation solutions optimizing performance and resolving issues as needed utilizing root-cause analysis. 
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in automation, AI, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team  

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 6 months of successful experience in another role within ConstructConnect OR demonstrable skills or 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with demonstrable experience with Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar general-purpose language for automation and data manipulation. 
  • Experience working with APIs and consuming API
  • Knowledge of RPA tools (Power Automate, Selenium, Beautiful Soup). 
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and their application in automation workflows. 
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. 
  • Knowledge of data processing and ETL workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize automation solutions. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of SQL and database management.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • This position is located in Cincinnati, OH, with a hybrid/remote work schedule
  • Ability to work in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area.
