Overview

This position sits within our People and Culture (P&C) division which is responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating human resources.

The Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Associate plays a key role in supporting the People & Culture team by ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring and onboarding experience. This role is responsible for managing applicant workflows, maintaining HR systems, and assisting with recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Associate provides administrative and project support across the People & Culture function, helping to drive team initiatives and enhance the overall team member experience. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional looking to grow in the talent acquisition and HR space while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Employee Life-Cyle Process:
    • Maintaining applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and manage open position workflows, including requisition approvals, pre-screening, interview scheduling, offer letter creation, and HR system updates.
    • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including updating HR systems and scheduling on-boarding sessions.
    • Process job changes and other updates for current team members in HR systems.
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding; including attending in-person new hire sessions.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Support Talent Acquisition Consultants in sourcing candidates using job boards and other channels.
    • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications as needed.
  • Team Support:
    • Providing administrative and project support to the People & Culture team, including fulfilling data and report requests.
    • Assist with coordination and tracking of various team and company initiatives as needed.
    • Provide backup support for HR system data entry and maintenance.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team  

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years' experience in a corporate human resource or recruiting environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of leadership
  • Proactive self-starter who anticipates areas of added value
  • Interest in learning and growing within the talent acquisition field
  • Adaptable to frequently changing priorities and competing demands
  • Good organizational and priority setting skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • This position is a hybrid position and team members are expected to have a dedicated and established remote workspace.  
  • Ability to work hybrid in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area.
