Overview

This position sits within our Content division which identifies and publishes accurate and relevant project data for our software solutions.

The Tender Researcher is responsible for collecting and consolidating bid information, and accurately entering the information into a customized database, plus gathers and enters public plans and specs. The incumbent is a key member of the bid stage reporting team. This position requires fluency in English and French to effectively support bilingual bid opportunities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining current information on general building projects in the bid, pre-post bid stages and for a defined geographical area which may include, but not limited to:

  • Gathering, writing, editing and producing timely bid results information
  • Gathers and enters public plans and specs
  • Performing plan reviews to add details to a report
  • Updating reports
  • Inputting data into customized database
  • Securing prescribed information and bidding documents to meet reporting standards
  • Analyzing and synthesizing information
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Conducting scheduled telephone calls to track bid reports
  • Maintaining current information of projects in the bid and post bid stages

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience or post secondary education
  • Proficiency in English and French is required
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers, with emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Strong key boarding skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • This position is a hybrid position and team members are expected to have a dedicated and established remote workspace.  
  • Ability to work hybrid in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area.
