Overview

This position sits within our Training division which is responsible for supporting our customers at every interaction through technical support and training to create consistent high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

The Opportunity 

 

The Onboarding Specialist works with new clients to help them connect with client support such as product training and helps them to effectively launch the use of their new product(s). In addition to training support, this technical savvy individual may provide technical and functionality support ensuring that the value proposition of the platform is continuously recognized by the customer. 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing 
 

  • Consult with customer champion to assess customer needs. Help them connect with our tailored training plans. 
  • Identify technical issues and escalate them to the appropriate team. 
  • Host customer onboarding sessions in one-on-one settings as well as large group sessions. Facilitated virtually through online meeting software and conference call. Very rarely will these onboarding sessions be face to face in the office of the customer. 
  • Track customer usage activity and provide appropriate follow up to ensure value propositions are being reinforced and customer is receiving good return on investment.  Plotting actions to correct if needed. 
  • As new functionality and product updates are released for the product, contact and train customer. 
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure that all setup work has been completed accurately.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team 
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree with 2 years of training experience OR HS Diploma with 4 years of training experience OR (12) months of successful experience in a ConstructConnect role. 
  • Perpetually exhibits the ConstructConnect values. 
  • Intermediate technical troubleshooting skills 
  • Virtual training experience, preferred 
  • Construction industry experience is a preferred 
  • Provide superb customer service to each client 
  • Carries an innovative mindset on how to enhance each client’s experience 
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment 
  • Good prioritization and time management skills. 

 

  • Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes. 
    • Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace. 
    • Team members who live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence as determined by the team or department. 
    • All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States
