The Opportunity

ConstructConnect is creating a Senior GTM Software Engineer role to centrally own our GTM AI initiative portfolio and operate GTM AI as a strategic, company level capability. In this role, you will be the primary technical bridge between GTM, GTM Systems, Product/Development, and IT—turning GTM workflows and ideas into scalable, secure, and measurably impactful AI solutions. You will own a single GTM AI roadmap across segments, run structured intake and task prioritization with GTM leaders and frontline teams, and guide initiatives from discovery through POC, pilot, and scale.

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you will partner closely with the GTM AI Specialist, GTM Programs, central AI governance, and Analytics to define standards, guardrails, and success metrics for how AI shows up in day-to-day GTM work. This is a highly visible, cross functional role for a senior technical leader who is excited to design, build, and operationalize AI and automation that improve productivity, revenue outcomes, and customer experience across our go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Own the GTM AI initiative roadmap across all GTM segments and functions.
  • Run a structured intake and prioritization process for AI ideas from GTM leaders and frontline teams.
  • Build simple business cases (impact, effort, dependencies) and facilitate tradeoff decisions with Revenue, Product, and Development leaders.

Business–Technical Translation

  • Work with GTM leaders & AI Center of Excellence team to define problems, workflows, and success criteria.
  • Translate GTM needs into clear technical requirements for Development, Product, IT, and GTM Systems (data, integrations, security, support).

Initiative Lifecycle Management

  • Define and enforce a standard lifecycle: discovery → POC → pilot → scale.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams; track risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure each initiative has clear owners, milestones, and exit criteria before scaling.

Governance, Standards & Tools

  • Help define and apply AI standards and patterns for GTM (preferred platforms, integration patterns, documentation, guardrails).
  • Align with central AI governance on responsible use, data, and security.
  • Minimize tool and agent sprawl by tying experiments back to the central roadmap.

 Measurement & Reporting

  • Partner with Analytics, GTM Systems, and AI Center of Excellence teams to define key metrics
  • Adoption and usage by team/role.
  • Time savings and productivity gains.
  • Revenue/pipeline and customer experience impact.
  • Provide regular executive level reporting (e.g., quarterly ELT updates) on roadmap status and impact.

Change Management & Enablement Partnership

  • Coordinate with Sales Enablement, Academy, and GTM Programs on training, communications, and rollout plans.
  • Support GTM leaders in embedding AI into operating rhythms, role expectations, and coaching.
  • Capture and share success stories and playbooks so “what good looks like” is clear.
  • This job description in no way implies that the duties listed here are the only ones that team members can be required to perform

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years in relevant technical role with GTM experience, product management, sales operations, revenue operations, or a similarly cross functional role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning roadmaps or program portfolios across multiple teams.
  • Strong product mindset and ability to translate between GTM and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience & ability to design, develop, and deploy AI and automated workflows and data processes using Python, AI, and APIs with knowledge of Microsoft products (such as Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Teams).
  • The ideal candidate will leverage multiple technologies to optimize business processes, integrate systems, and enhance efficiency through automation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace.
  • Team members who live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence every Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
  • All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
